Janelle shares her brother’s passion for carrying on the legacy of the family business.

She considers herself lucky to have a good working relationship with her brother – not something every sibling could claim!

Janelle brings a different skillset to the table than Andrew. With a degree in Commerce and CPA, Janelle looks after the accounting, finance, HR and IT side of the business. She manages systems and processes, making sure the Dynaweld operation runs as smoothly as possible.

And by keeping a focus on continuous improvement, she is always looking for how things can be done better for Dynaweld’s diverse customer base.

“I bring in the softer side, like the charity projects, recycling programs, social responsibility side of the business.”

Janelle is very proud of what Dynaweld has achieved in the last 10 years, building the brand to the point where a stalwart Australian brand now puts their equipment on their shelves.

But alongside celebrating nation-wide brand growth and partnering with the big players, she is perhaps most excited about going back to Dynaweld’s roots and partnering with distributors of all sizes.

Connecting with the regional industrial companies that she and Andrew saw from the back of the family station wagon when they were kids is crucial for Janelle. They laid the foundations of the business.

“I’ve met a lot of the distributors and have taken my own family across Australia to meet them, just like Dad did. I want to see these businesses survive and prosper in a changing industry.”
