Like Dynaweld, Ross’s Diesel Service is a family affair. Ross Swarts, the business’s name sake, launched the company nearly 35 years ago. Early on, Ross and his two sons, Luke and Kane, both mechanics, did mechanical repairs for the truck transport trade. It was only four years ago that they decided to diversify and move into retail, while still retaining their mechanical services foundation.

“We wanted to become a one-stop shop for everything and everyone. We wanted those in the community to be able to rely on us to provide them the very best products at the very best prices. We work with people from all walks of life: farmers, mechanics, engineers and builders, as well as other trades and market segments,” Luke says.

As well as providing mechanical and auto-electric services and repairs for heavy-duty equipment and vehicles, Ross’s Diesel Service also supplies a comprehensive range of industrial supplies including fittings, parts, power tools, auto-electrical, abrasives, lighting, oils, safety equipment, welding supplies and lots more.

“We needed a welding supplier and we were looking at a couple of options. We spoke to Graham Eaton (Dynaweld’s WA Branch Manager), and he was great. He made the effort to actually come out and see us and we really liked his approach.”
